Professor Dusica Lecic Tosevski

Dusica Lecic Tosevski, MD, PhD, is neuropsychiatrist, psychotherapist and professor of psychiatry. She is full member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, director of the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) In 2009 the Institute became a designated WHO Collaborating Centre for Mental Healthcare Force Development of which she is the Director. She is also the WHO national counterpart for mental health.


She was/is actively involved in WPA, as past Zonal Representative for Central Europe, past chair of the Section on Preventive Psychiatry, co-chair of the Committee for Scientific Publications and now as an honorary member and member of a few sections. She has made significant contributions to the development of mental health policy in Serbia, including Chairing the National Committee for Mental Health and the national mental health plan for Serbia for 2007-2015.


She is president of the Serbian Psychiatric Association and the Psychiatric Association of Eastern Europe and the Balkans. Her research interests are personality disorders, stress, depression and comorbidity.
